Cozumel, Q.R. — The alleged rape of a minor by an active-duty member of the Mexican Army has resulted in a disturbance outside the facilities of the Military Garrison. The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) reported that, in close collaboration with the Mexican Army, Air Force, National Guard, and the Cozumel municipality, a male identified as Jairo "N", an active element of the Defense department, was detained for his possible connection to the events following allegations of potential acts of sexual abuse.
