Judicial authorities have issued protective measures for a 14-year-old adolescent girl, identified by the initials M.C.G.K., after she accused a minor, R.J.C., of child pornography. The case underscores the severity of sexual crimes involving minors in Quintana Roo.
Legal Proceedings Initiated
The complaint was filed yesterday at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The victim’s family—her 35-year-old mother, S.C.K., and her 59-year-old grandmother, M.S.C.G.—arrived accompanied by municipal security personnel from José María Morelos to begin legal proceedings with the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Crimes Committed by Adolescents.
At 11:30 a.m., the victim was placed under the custody of ministerial personnel, and the case was officially registered in the corresponding investigation file. By 4:00 p.m., a resolution was issued imposing precautionary measures against the accused minor.
Protective Measures Enforced
The court order prohibits the accused adolescent from intimidating or harassing the victim or her family for a period of 60 calendar days, from June 18 to August 16, 2025. These measures apply to residences in the community of El Triunfo and the “5 de febrero” shelter, both located within the municipality of José María Morelos.
Growing Concerns Over Child Exploitation
Cases like this continue to raise alarm among social advocacy groups and state authorities, highlighting the impact of serious crimes such as child pornography in rural communities. Victims in these areas often face significant barriers in accessing justice.
The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office has reaffirmed its commitment to combating such crimes and prioritizing support for vulnerable populations.
