Lázaro Cárdenas, Quintana Roo — The Government of the State of Quintana Roo, through the Secretariat of Territorial, Urban, and Sustainable Development (SEDETUS), in coordination with the City Council of Lázaro Cárdenas, has informed the public that various real estate developments in the region lack the required official assessments, certificates, permits, and authorizations mandated by current regulations.

According to the state agency, the projects named Cenote Hábitat, Nuna Amada Tierra, Villas Kin Ha, and Punta Ciricote do not comply with the provisions established in the Law of Human Settlements, Territorial Planning, and Urban Development; the Law of Urban Planning Actions; the Law of Condominium Property; and the State Program of Urban Development, among other applicable regulations.

SEDETUS has urged the population to refrain from engaging in any actions of purchase, sale, rental, or promises of sale-purchase for these developments. Doing so represents significant legal and financial risks and could constitute crimes against urban development.

Furthermore, the agency reiterated its willingness to provide advice and guidance to citizens interested in investing in real estate safely. For any inquiries, the department has made the following email address available: atencion@sedetus.gob.mx.

Through these actions, the Government of the State of Quintana Roo reaffirms its commitment to protecting family assets and guaranteeing orderly and sustainable growth.
