Cancún, Mexico — Rappi, Latin America’s leading technology platform, has announced the launch of Rappi Turbo in the city, an ultra-fast delivery service that promises to bring products to customers’ doors in 10 minutes or less. The service leverages a cutting-edge logistics network and strategically placed "dark stores" to achieve its rapid delivery times.
With this expansion, Cancún joins a select group of Mexican cities where the service operates, including Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mérida, Puebla, Tijuana, Querétaro, Saltillo, and Hermosillo.
Shopping at the Speed of a Click
Rappi Turbo operates through "dark stores" or smart warehouses located within 2 kilometers of users, enabling near-instant delivery of products such as snacks, beverages, fresh produce, medications, and convenience items.
"The future of the digital supermarket is happening today," said Andrés Felipe Palacio, Director of Rappi Turbo Mexico. "Turbo has transformed consumption habits in every city it enters, and a city as important as Cancún will be no exception."
Boosting the Local Economy
Beyond speed, Rappi Turbo serves as a platform to stimulate the local economy. The model prioritizes fresh products, regional brands, and popular local items, creating opportunities for producers, merchants, and delivery personnel within Rappi’s network.
Nationally, the service already exceeds 500,000 monthly deliveries, supported by a dedicated fleet of over 2,000 delivery personnel and an inventory of more than 2,000 products available 24/7 in its smart stores.
