Chetumal, Quintana Roo — The National Meteorological Service (SMN) forecasts clear skies and no rain for Quintana Roo today, with maximum temperatures ranging from 30 to 35 degrees Celsius.

The agency reports that the Yucatan Peninsula will experience partly cloudy skies during the day with no rainfall in the region. Conditions will be cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon, with southerly winds of 20 to 30 km/h and gusts of 50 to 70 km/h in Campeche, Yucatan, and Quintana Roo.

An anticyclonic circulation in the middle and upper levels of the atmosphere will persist over northwestern, northern, and western Mexico. Combined with low humidity, this will maintain stable weather and very hot conditions in those regions, and warm to hot weather across the rest of the country.

Moisture from the Pacific Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean Sea will cause rain and showers in western, southern, and southeastern Mexican states.

A dry line will establish over Coahuila, bringing strong winds with gusts of 40 to 60 km/h and possible dust storms in northeastern Mexico.
