Cancún, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Education Department (SEQ) announced it will open in-person enrollment modules from August 10 to 14 for high school applicants who have not yet been assigned a school under the state’s “Mi Derecho, Mi Lugar” placement process.
From August 10 to 13, modules will serve registered applicants who still lack a school assignment. On August 14, the service will be exclusively for students who did not register online or who come from another state and wish to enroll in Quintana Roo’s upper secondary education system.
Modules will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Cancún, Chetumal, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Bacalar, Cozumel, Isla Mujeres, José María Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Kantunilkín, and Puerto Morelos.
In Cancún, the module will be located on Avenida Bonampak between Chichén Itzá and García de la Torre. Additional sites will be set up at education offices in each municipality, including Playa del Carmen, Chetumal, Tulum, Cozumel, Bacalar, and Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
The SEQ said the initiative aims to facilitate entry into upper secondary education for the 2026-2027 school year for registered applicants without a school, students from other states, and those who missed the online registration window.
