Quintana Roo Authorities Issue Search Alerts for Two Missing Minors, Including U.S. Citizen

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Prosecutor’s Office has activated search protocols for two minors reported missing on February 19, 2026, in separate incidents in Playa del Carmen and Chetumal, with one identified as a U.S. citizen.

Authorities are asking the public for assistance in locating both individuals.

Search Protocols Activated

In the first case, officials issued a search alert for Alexis Hatcher, last seen in Playa del Carmen.

  • Age: 25
  • Nationality: U.S. citizen
  • Appearance: Brown complexion, medium build, black short curly hair, black eyes
  • Height: 1.67 meters (approximately 5’6″)
  • Weight: Approximately 60 kg (132 lbs)
  • Distinguishing feature: Rose tattoo on left forearm

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, brown shorts, and black sandals. Anyone with information is asked to contact 984 873 0163.

Amber Alert Activated for Teenager

Authorities also activated an Amber Alert for Evelin Natasha Ambris Cahuich, 14, last seen in Chetumal.

  • Nationality: Mexican
  • Appearance: Thin build, brown complexion, long wavy pink hair, black eyes
  • Height: 1.61 meters (approximately 5’3″)
  • Weight: 40 kg (88 lbs)

She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red pants, and black and pink sneakers. Information can be reported to 983 835 0050 extension 1132.

The Prosecutor’s Office reiterated its request for the public to provide any reliable information that could help locate both individuals.
