Chetumal, Quintana Roo — Quintana Roo will host a series of educational and scientific activities across four state planetariums from March 20 to 22 to mark World Water Day, focusing on water conservation and environmental awareness.
The Quintanarroense Council of Humanities, Sciences and Technologies (COQHCYT) invites the public to participate in the agenda, which aims to strengthen environmental consciousness and align with state sustainability policies.
The program includes conferences, exhibition tables, dome projections, and interactive workshops for all ages, designed to promote a more active environmental culture and bring science closer to the population.
Venues and Schedule
The activities will take place at the Yook’ ol Kaab planetarium in Chetumal, Sayab in Playa del Carmen, Ka’Yok’ in Cancún, and Cha’an Kaan in Cozumel. These venues are dedicated to scientific and educational outreach.
COQHCYT officials emphasized that these initiatives seek to involve society in environmental care, promoting concrete actions for sustainable water use and environmental preservation.
