Quintana Roo Wins 54 Medals at CONADE Olympics 2025

Guadalajara, Jalisco — The Quintana Roo swimming team continued its strong performance at the CONADE National Olympics 2025, securing six additional medals on the second day of competition at the Metropolitan Aquatic Center in Guadalajara. The haul included three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, bringing the state’s total in swimming to 10 medals and its overall count to 54.

Swimming Team Delivers Standout Performances

Under the framework of the New Agreement for Wellbeing and Development promoted by Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa, the Quintana Roo Sports Commission (CODEQ), led by Jacobo Arzate Hop, has provided athletes with the necessary tools to achieve their goals.

The first gold medal for Quintana Roo in swimming was won by Carlota Martínez Flores, Adriana Margarita López Damas, Blanca Patricia Vázquez, and Viviana Duarte Sulbarán in the Women’s 15-16 4×100 Medley Relay. The team outperformed competitors from Nuevo León and Jalisco to claim the top spot.

Blanca Patricia Vázquez secured the second gold for the state, winning the Women’s 15-16 100-meter Backstroke. She later added a silver medal in the Women’s 15-16 50-meter Butterfly.

Oliver Spencer Lund contributed another gold for Quintana Roo, dominating the Men’s 15-16 100-meter Backstroke ahead of swimmers from Guanajuato and Baja California.

Jack Oliver Lund earned a silver medal in the Men’s 17-18 100-meter Backstroke, narrowly losing to a competitor from Querétaro, while Nuevo León took bronze.

The bronze medal was secured by the Men’s 17-18 4×100 Medley Relay team, consisting of Jack Oliver Lund, Diego Dávila, Jesús Aguilar, and Luis Felipe Tzec.

Quintana Roo’s Rising Medal Count

With these results, the Quintana Roo swimming team now holds a total of 10 medals—three gold, four silver, and three bronze. The state’s overall medal count at the CONADE National Olympics 2025 stands at 54: 17 gold, 20 silver, and 17 bronze.
