Quinta Avenida, a popular destination in Playa del Carmen, has undergone a significant transformation. The area has seen a revamp of its urban facilities and signage, enhancing the image and identity of this globally recognized tourist spot.
Estefanía Mercado, the city's mayor, stated that the city boasts a unique identity and takes immense pride in its history and roots. "Playa del Carmen is more than just a destination. It embodies culture, community, and pride," she said, emphasizing the area's newly enhanced urban appeal.
The new road signs, featuring eye-catching colors, are designed to attract attention and guide visitors through the various attractions this tourist hotspot offers.
This transformation is part of a commitment made by the municipal administration, in collaboration with Quintana Roo's governor, Mara Lezama, and President Claudia Sheinbaum. Their joint efforts aim to continuously improve and develop Playa del Carmen.
