PLAYA DEL CARMEN, QR — The body of a man found abandoned beneath a city billboard was reported on Tuesday. Police confirmed the discovery in a grassy area on Luis Donaldo Colosio Avenue.
Authorities were notified of the finding by a resident of the area at approximately 5:00 p.m. The location was behind the Villa subdivision of Ibiza. Police observed the body in a small ditch at the base of a large billboard. It is believed the body had been there for three days before being found.
Authorities are working to identify the man.
