Tulum Guard and Worker Accused of Cat Abuse

TULUM – A case of animal cruelty registered in this city has generated significant outrage among citizens and on social media. According to local testimonies and reports, a security guard from the Mirval real estate development and a worker from a nearby construction site were recorded assaulting a stray cat.

The incident, which spread rapidly across digital platforms, indicates that the security guard allegedly incited the construction worker to participate in the mistreatment, provoking an immediate reaction from witnesses and neighbors in the area.

The aggression against the feline ignited a wave of condemnation that has extended throughout the community and among animal defense organizations, which have demanded justice and exemplary sanctions for those responsible.
