“Get Expert Nutritional Care at Solidaridad Health Centers!”

To promote healthy living and prevent obesity-related chronic diseases among families in Solidaridad, the Ministry of Health has announced that its five Primary Care Centers (CAPS) are equipped with specialized nutritionists. These professionals are available to provide first-level consultations to the community.

The nutrition coordination team at CAPS also runs two special programs. The Mutual Support Group (GAM) is designed to assist individuals living with chronic diseases. The Maternity Club offers guidance on care before, during, and after pregnancy.

The CAPS facilities are located in the neighborhoods of Luis Donaldo Colosio, 28 de Julio, Villas del Sol, El Petén, and the municipality of Puerto Aventuras. Free consultations are available from 07:00 to 14:00. In addition, the Villas del Sol center offers evening consultations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 14:00 to 21:00.
