The Benito Juarez City Council has installed a new sculpture at Playa Delfines, a popular tourist destination in Cancun. The sculpture, which features five dolphins and is split into two parts, offers both tourists and locals a unique photo opportunity.

Previously located in Parque de las Palapas, the sculpture now stands in a corridor between the sidewalk and a viewpoint. It overlooks the stunning turquoise blue waters of the Mexican Caribbean, providing a beautiful backdrop for visitors.

The relocation of the sculpture was a collaborative effort between the Administrative Management Unit of the "Cancun District" project, the Institute of Culture and the Arts, the General Services directorates, and the Federal Maritime Terrestrial Zone (Zofemat).

Playa Delfines is a popular public beach, renowned for its beauty and high-quality services. It has received numerous accolades, including the Blue Flag and the Sustainable Clean Beach white flag, Level II credentials. The beach has also been awarded the Platinum Beach certificate by the Mexican Institute of Standardization and Certification (IMNC).
