On Tuesday, it was reported that a missing teenager from Cancún was found in Ticul, Yucatán, following a car accident. The authorities identified her during the accident investigation.
The young girl, known as Diana from C.L.V., is 14 years old. She had been reported missing in Cancún, Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, since March 20.
Details suggest that Diana was involved in a car accident in Ticul. During the accident procedures, the local municipal police discovered that she was the subject of a missing person report in Quintana Roo state.
The police took Diana into custody and transferred her to the municipal command facilities. At this time, it is unclear why she was in Ticul. She was later handed over to the authorities in Quintana Roo, who will handle any further proceedings.
