Cancun, Quintana Roo — A new edition of Merkadito, a market dedicated to promoting local consumption, will take place this weekend at Kabah Ecological Park.
The event runs Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visitors can find a wide variety of products including fruits, vegetables, dairy, honey, seafood, plants, and handicrafts made by local producers and entrepreneurs.
The market aims to create direct sales opportunities for those in the local economy while encouraging residents to buy regional products and strengthening ties between producers and consumers.
Organizers invite the public to attend the free event at Kabah Ecological Park.
