A man was tragically killed in Puerto Morelos after being ambushed by hitmen. The incident occurred as he was arriving at his home in the Villas La Playa subdivision on his motorcycle.

Despite the immediate response from paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was quickly cordoned off by authorities who launched an investigation into the incident.

The victim's body has since been moved to the Cancún Forensic Medical Service. It is anticipated that his family will identify him there.
