Tulum, Quintana Roo — Emergency services responded to central Tulum after a man was reported dead on a public street.
The incident occurred on Jupiter Norte street at the corner of Tulum Avenue, next to the Yza pharmacy in the downtown area. A passerby alerted authorities to an unconscious man who appeared to have no vital signs, prompting an urgent call for medical assistance.
Following the report, response protocols were activated. Paramedics from Tulum Hospital and civil protection personnel arrived to assess the individual and confirmed he had no vital signs.
Police officers secured the area to facilitate the work of investigative police, who took charge of the case upon arrival.
The man remains unidentified, but witnesses said he appeared to be homeless.
