Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — A man was found dead Saturday night on Playa del Carmen Boulevard near La Floresta after what authorities reported as a traffic incident.

Police officers responded to the scene after receiving a report of the incident and found the man lying on the roadway. Paramedics were called to assist but could only confirm that he had no vital signs.

The area was cordoned off to allow authorities to process the scene and remove the body. The victim has not been identified, and no details about how the incident occurred have been released.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances that led to the man’s death.
