Riviera Maya, Mexico — Jungala Aqua Experience, a luxury water park located in the heart of Riviera Maya, is celebrating its sixth anniversary this year with the debut of two new attractions. The park, known for its high-end amenities and limited daily visitor capacity, continues to enhance its offerings for guests seeking adventure in a tropical setting.
A Premier Water Park Experience
Jungala Aqua Experience distinguishes itself as a luxury water park by capping daily attendance, ensuring shorter lines and personalized service. The property features nine attractions, most of which are slides of varying lengths and intensity levels.
Among the park’s standout features is the Hoop Hoop Aqua Loop, a thrilling near-vertical drop with a 45-degree turn, and the Paradise Free Fall, a 20-meter-high freefall slide. The Beachside Boomerango spans 122 meters and is designed for tube rides, while the Tropical Whizzard offers four winding slides with multiple ascents and descents.
The park also boasts the longest lazy river in Latin America, stretching over one kilometer and winding through caves, waterfalls, and bridges. Additional amenities include private cabanas for relaxation, dedicated children’s play areas, an adults-only pool, and nine dining options ranging from casual snack bars to full-service restaurants.
New Attractions for the Anniversary Celebration
To mark its sixth anniversary, Jungala Aqua Experience has introduced two new rides:
- Palm Rattler – A massive 170-meter slide that twists through jungle-themed landscapes, designed for groups of two to four riders sharing inflatable rafts.
- Selva Loop – An adrenaline-pumping 20-meter freefall slide followed by a horizontal loop that creates a brief sensation of weightlessness. Due to its intensity, this attraction is restricted to guests taller than 1.22 meters and weighing no more than 136 kilograms.

Jungala Aqua Experience is situated within the Vidanta Riviera Maya complex at kilometer 48 of the Cancún-Playa del Carmen highway in Quintana Roo. The park is approximately a 25-minute drive from downtown Playa del Carmen and 46 minutes from Cancún.
