A social media influencer has been arrested in Mexico City following allegations of a violent altercation with her ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend. The incident took place in the borough of Álvaro Obregón, within the Park Pedregal area, where the two women reportedly had a heated argument that escalated into violence.
The influencer, identified as Marianne G. R., had travelled from Cancun to meet her ex-boyfriend. During the encounter, she came face-to-face with her ex's new girlfriend, Valentina G. As the argument intensified, Marianne is alleged to have stabbed Valentina in the neck with a knife.
Valentina received immediate medical attention following the attack, and Marianne was promptly arrested by local authorities at the scene.
The exact charges Marianne may face are yet to be determined. Depending on the outcome of the ongoing investigation, she could be charged with assault or attempted murder. Meanwhile, legal proceedings continue in Mexico City.
