Performers from Fundación Danxica's contemporary dance work 'Humedal' on stage at Teatro de la Ciudad in Cancún

Cancún, Mexico — Body language takes center stage with “Humedal,” a contemporary dance production opening Wednesday at Teatro de la Ciudad that invites audiences to experience a powerful and sensitive performance.

The work explores female collective strength through themes of transformation, resistance, and rebirth. Under the choreographic direction of Luz Más Martínez, “Humedal” creates a stage narrative combining technique, emotion, and reflection, forming a bodily landscape that connects the intimate with the collective.

Fundación Danxica produces the work, known for promoting artistic proposals with social content and strong interpretive quality.

The premiere performance takes place Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. at Teatro de la Ciudad, inviting the community to a space of dialogue and deep expression.
