Playa del Carmen — With the objective of promoting sports, healthy coexistence, and the formation of new generations, the coordinator and councilman for the Green Party in Playa del Carmen, Fernando Muñoz Calero, has announced the "Circuito del Caribe" Padel Tournament, which will take place from October 23 to 26 in this city.
The event aims to establish itself as a space to boost local sports and the practice of padel, in line with the policies of Municipal President Estefanía Mercado, who has prioritized the promotion of healthy lifestyles and social cohesion through physical activity.
Fernando Muñoz highlighted that, in addition to strengthening values and community coexistence, the tournament will contribute to sports tourism by attracting local participants and visitors. Registrations are now open for the 6th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, and Suma 3 categories, in both men's and women's divisions, with cash prizes for the first-place winners.
"The sport does not only form champions on the court, it also strengthens values, unites families, and helps us build a better society," expressed the councilman.
Finally, Muñoz emphasized that the Circuito del Caribe represents an opportunity to reinforce the social fabric and project Playa del Carmen as a venue for quality sporting events that have a regional impact.
