FBI-Aided Operation in Playa del Carmen Leads to Arrest of Two Foreign Fugitives

Police operation in Playa del Carmen leading to the arrest of two fugitives

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Mexican police, working with U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation agents, arrested two foreign nationals in this resort city who were wanted on arrest warrants from Texas.

Investigators from the Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office and FBI agents detained the individuals on 38th Street North in Playa del Carmen. Authorities identified them as Kendra “N” and Sean “N”.

According to officials, Kendra “N” is under investigation for alleged involvement in vehicle theft and as an accomplice in a homicide. Sean “N” is accused of child sexual assault.

The arrest warrants were issued by the 451st Judicial District Court in Kendall County, Texas, making both subjects fugitives sought by U.S. authorities.

After their capture in Mexico, police turned the two foreigners over to the National Migration Institute, which will handle the initial immigration procedures.

In coordination with U.S. officials, authorities plan to transfer both individuals to the Texas judicial system to face the pending legal charges against them.
