Fatal Stabbing at Cancún Fruit Market: Shocking Workplace Tragedy

A disagreement between two employees at a fruit market in Cancún ended in a fatal stabbing. The weapon used in the murder was discovered at the scene. The incident occurred around 3:50 AM, with reports of two men fighting outside the Grupo Verde fruit market, situated in Supermanzana 91, on Francisco I. Madero Avenue (Route 4) with Lombardo Toledano.

By the time the police arrived, it was too late. One man was found in a pool of blood, while the other had already fled the scene. Paramedics on the scene confirmed the man had no vital signs. The area was subsequently cordified by local authorities, as forensic experts and investigative agents began their work.

Witnesses claim the disagreement began inside the fruit market. However, the situation quickly escalated, leading to the two men grabbing knives and continuing their fight in the street. One man was stabbed during the altercation and bled out on the scene, dying in front of his fellow workers.

Police have confirmed that the perpetrator has not been apprehended and the investigation has been handed over to the Ministerial Police. Once the investigation concluded, the victim's body was moved to the Forensic Medical Service facilities, where it will stay until it is claimed by his family.
