A devastating car accident on the Cancún-Puerto Morelos highway has tragically resulted in the death of a woman. The accident occurred when the driver, reportedly driving at high speed, lost control of the vehicle and collided with a post. The woman was trapped within the wreckage of the vehicle, unable to escape.

The accident occurred around 10:30 pm, with bystanders in the area quickly alerting authorities to the incident. They urgently requested assistance, reporting that a woman was trapped inside the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses reported that the Honda vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the driver suddenly lost control, leading to the fatal collision. The vehicle ended up in the middle of a median strip, with the woman trapped inside.

Responding to the scene were elements of the municipal police, civil protection, and the National Guard. They arrived to assess the situation and begin the grim task of extracting the deceased woman from the wreckage.

Paramedics were also on the scene, but upon assessment, they could only confirm the woman's death.

It was also reported that there were other occupants in the vehicle, believed to be family members of the deceased. They sustained injuries in the accident and were transported to a local hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.
