Best July 2025 Events in the Mexican Caribbean

Quintana Roo, Mexico — The Mexican Caribbean is set to welcome a packed agenda of cultural, culinary, musical, and traditional events this July 2025. From Chetumal to Playa del Carmen, the summer season promises diverse experiences for all visitors and residents.

Highlights of the Month

The month kicks off with the Mayas y Piratas Festival in Chetumal on July 4th and 5th, followed by the highly anticipated “Nuestra Señora del Carmen” International Fishing Tournament in Playa del Carmen on July 6th.

Food enthusiasts can mark their calendars for the Playa Grill Fest on July 9th and the Corn Fair (Feria del Maíz) in Cancún on July 12th and 13th.

Playa del Carmen will host its traditional Feria del Carmen from July 10th to 17th, featuring live performances and cultural activities. Meanwhile, Puerto Morelos will see multiple events on July 11th, including the “El Arrecife” Gastronomic Kermés, the “El Faro” Artisan Pavilion, and the “La Diosa del Mar” Fishing Tournament.

Music and Entertainment

Music lovers can look forward to Noches de Leyendas in Bacalar on July 18th, which will include free concerts by Los Cadetes de Linares de Rodrigo Méndez, Los Caminantes, Los Chulos, La Sonora Dinamita, La Herencia, Tributo a Banda Machos, and Banda Maguey at the Idelfonso Tito Vázquez Baseball Stadium.

From July 28th to 30th, Playa del Carmen will host the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival, one of Mexico’s most prominent jazz events.

Adventure and Culture

For thrill-seekers, the Bull Shark Festival (Festival del Tiburón Toro) will take place from July 19th to 20th, offering a unique marine experience.

• The 178th Anniversary of the Caste War (Guerra de Castas) in Felipe Carrillo Puerto (July 26th–30th)
