Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The municipal government of Playa del Carmen, under the leadership of Mayor Estefanía Mercado, has launched a specialized training program to strengthen wildlife protection efforts. Personnel from the Secretariat of Civil Protection, Risk Prevention, and Firefighting are participating in the Basic Wildlife Management Course, aimed at safeguarding at-risk species and maintaining ecological balance.
