Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo — French luxury brand ERES has opened its first official store in Mexico at The St. Regis Kanai Resort, strengthening the Mexican Caribbean’s position as a gateway for international high-end retail.
The boutique will serve not only resort guests but also the residential community at Kanai and visitors to the Riviera Maya, the company said.
ERES Bets on the Mexican Caribbean
The French company, founded in 1968, chose the Mexican Caribbean for its debut in the country, a decision that reflects the region’s growing appeal for global luxury brands.
According to the state Tourism Department (Sedetur), destinations such as Cancun and the Riviera Maya have seen an increase in travelers who come not only for tourist attractions but also for shopping, driven by the presence of well-known luxury labels.

The new store will feature some of the French house’s main collections, including swimwear, lingerie, resortwear and loungewear. The pieces are made in France under a responsible production model designed to combine aesthetics, comfort and well-being.
The opening adds to the region’s commercial offerings for upscale travelers and represents an opportunity to further strengthen the area’s presence in the international luxury market while continuing to attract brands seeking destinations with strong tourism connectivity and a growing luxury residential and hotel supply.
