The arrival of Dua Lipa in Cancún sparked a wave of videos and photos on social media, showing the British singer rehearsing with her band on a stage that an American company set up inside Moon Palace The Grand, one of the most exclusive hotel complexes in the Mexican Caribbean.

Internet users commented that the artist, who just months ago sold out all tickets for her concerts in Mexico, made a surprise appearance at a private Christmas party organized by Power Home Remodeling.

The event was part of “Quest by Power,” a three-day corporate festival that the company holds for its workers and their families.

In the 2025 edition, the lineup included bands such as Blink 182, RÜFÜS Du Sol, Kid Cudi, Shaboozey, and Kings of Leon. Guests enjoyed concerts, themed experiences, and wellness activities at the Moon Palace facilities, an environment that combines music and beach.

Power Home Remodeling is a company founded in 1992 in the United States that specializes in home remodeling, focusing on windows, doors, roofs, and siding; it currently has more than four thousand employees and organizes events at international tourist destinations.

The presence of Dua Lipa was the highlight of the festival. The British singer is one of the most sought-after names in pop, and her stadium shows in Latin America typically sell out within hours.

For example, the Latin American leg of her “Radical Optimism” tour opened with two dates at the Monumental in Buenos Aires, and the first show sold out in one hour. These kinds of numbers explain why companies seek to hire her; it is estimated that her fee for a private concert ranges between one and 1.5 million euros, an amount that includes production and the accompanying team.

That fee places her among the highest-paid pop artists today and justifies Power Home Remodeling’s investment to close the year with a different celebration.
