During a recent concert in Cancún, Don Omar, the 47-year-old Puerto Rican singer, found himself in an unexpected situation. While performing at the Cancún Autódromo in Quintana Roo on March 15, Don Omar had to publicly reprimand and eject a fan. The incident has since gone viral on social media.
A video from the concert shows Don Omar addressing a fan who was throwing his drink at other attendees. The singer did not shy away from calling out the disruptive behavior, saying, "Sir, do you know something? At my 47 years old, what you're doing, throwing water in cups at the people in front is disrespectful. Yes, you, the one in the red shirt with white stripes."
The crowd at the concert applauded Don Omar's stance and joined in shouting "Get Out!" to the offending fan. Don Omar then instructed security to remove the disruptive fan from the venue.
The singer continued his admonishment, saying, "You should learn that at the age you are, you should do these stupid things at your home. Do you remember when I told you it was now my turn? Have a good time my love, take care.”
Many fans have praised Don Omar's handling of the situation. The singer's firm response to the fan's disruptive behavior has been widely applauded on social media. Another video shows the fan being escorted out by security, which has been met with amusement by many fans, particularly those who were present at the concert. They suggest that the ejected fan wasted his money on the concert ticket, only to be publicly reprimanded and removed.
