Cancun, Quintana Roo — A serious traffic accident Monday morning at the intersection of Kabah and Francisco I. Madero avenues in Cancun’s Supermanzana 93 prompted a major emergency response, including firefighters and multiple rescue agencies.
A man was trapped in the passenger seat of a private vehicle and required a specialized rescue operation to be freed. Rescuers used hydraulic equipment to safely extract the victim, who was then handed over to medical personnel for evaluation and treatment.
In addition to the trapped man, four passengers from a bus involved in the crash were assessed for injuries related to the impact.
Authorities urged drivers to exercise caution, obey speed limits, and maintain safe following distances to prevent such incidents. Emergency crews cleared hazardous debris from the roadway to prevent further accidents.
