The National Union of Workers of the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (SNTISSSTE) has deemed the construction of a new clinic in Cancun's Benito Juarez municipality as an urgent necessity. This proposed clinic is planned to be built on a 9-hectare plot donated by the municipality.

Despite efforts to initiate this project, the SNTISSSTE is still hopeful that the Institute of Security and Social Services for State Workers (ISSSTE) can bring this project to fruition in the vicinity of Cancun's General Hospital.

The existing clinic's lack of a tomograph has led to a decrease in patient satisfaction. This has resulted in ongoing discussions with the institution's authorities to enhance both the medical and paramedical services offered.
