Cancún, Mexico — The XXI edition of Expo Deconarq will take place in Cancún from August 13 to 15, with an anticipated business volume of 100 million pesos, according to Javier Murillo Betancurt, the event’s general director.
A Platform for Business and Tourism Growth
During a press conference, Murillo Betancurt emphasized that the expo, which brings together leading figures in construction, architecture, installations, and real estate development, will also significantly benefit local tourism. A majority of attendees are expected to travel from other Mexican states and abroad, generating economic spillover for the hospitality, commerce, and service sectors as they explore the destination’s attractions.
The event will feature 85 exhibitors and include conferences, workshops, forums, and a business networking roundtable designed to foster professional development and knowledge exchange. Murillo Betancurt highlighted Quintana Roo’s appeal for real estate and tourism investments, noting that the region currently has 800 active construction projects, representing 11,000 units for sale at an average value of 2.25 million pesos. Cancún, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum were cited as key areas driving this growth.
“Expo Deconarq is not just a business platform but also an economic catalyst for tourism,” Murillo Betancurt stated. “The region’s robust investment landscape makes it an ideal setting for this event.”
The expo is expected to draw industry professionals and investors seeking opportunities in one of Mexico’s most dynamic real estate and tourism markets.
