A motorcyclist was tragically shot and killed in the Santa Cecilia neighborhood of Cancún. The incident occurred approximately three kilometers from José López Portillo Avenue, near the now-closed "Plaza 21".

Local residents reported hearing at least five gunshots. Upon investigating, they discovered the victim lying on the ground next to his motorcycle.

Witnesses saw two individuals flee the scene on another motorcycle, who are suspected to be the assailants. Police quickly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area.

Paramedics who arrived later confirmed the death of the motorcyclist. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the crime.
