Cancún, Quintana Roo — Mayor Ana Paty Peralta toured Building 1 of the “Titán” Citizen Security Complex in Supermanzana 21 to confirm the project is advancing on schedule, part of a push to modernize the infrastructure behind the city’s public security services.
“The goal of building this security complex is to dignify our police force — those who protect us — to improve working conditions, to restore the pride and sense of belonging of our department, and to give citizens confidence,” Peralta said.
The mayor was accompanied by Public Security Secretary Jaime Padilla Barrientos and Public Works and Services Secretary Samantha Hernández Cardeña. She said the project forms part of her administration’s commitment to building the best police force in Cancún’s history.
Peralta added that the department’s operational and administrative divisions need facilities with better working conditions, specialized infrastructure and equipment that can improve surveillance, emergency response, intelligence analysis, monitoring and institutional coordination.
The project includes administrative offices, operational coordination areas, public service spaces, communications equipment and monitoring screens, along with systems designed to improve structural safety, accessibility, operational efficiency and the building’s resilience in emergencies.
