Cancún, Quintana Roo — As the Easter holiday season begins, the Cancún City Council has unveiled a new digital tool for tourists and residents: the “Cancún Beach Dashboard,” a platform offering updated information on coastal conditions.

Mayor Ana Paty Peralta explained that the dashboard allows users to check real-time data relevant to beachgoers, including sea state, lifeguard schedules, public transport routes, and services available at each location.

The project was praised by Quintana Roo Governor Mara Lezama, who noted the platform also includes information on beach flag colors, which are updated every two hours, as well as public parking availability at at least 12 beaches in the destination.

Authorities said the tool aims to enhance visitor safety, especially during peak periods. They urged the public to follow lifeguard instructions and respect signage to prevent incidents.

The “Cancún Beach Dashboard” is available online at tablerodeplayas.implancancun.gob.mx and is part of efforts to improve the tourist experience and ensure safer stays in one of the country’s most visited destinations.
