Cancún, Quintana Roo — The city’s artistic community will gather for a special evening of poetry and photography at Casa de la Cultura Cancún on February 19.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Galería Rolando Arjona with the opening of the photographic exhibition “Itzamná. Explorador del cielo, cazador de nubes.” The exhibition presents visual narratives that explore the sky, nature, light, and cloud movements as metaphors for search and freedom.
Afterward, attendees will move to the auditorium for the presentation of the poetry collection “En el Jardín los versos” by Carlos Flores. The work offers an intimate journey through emotions, inner landscapes, and the transformation of everyday moments into words.
Organizers describe the event as a celebration of two distinct artistic languages that converge in storytelling and evoking sensations through art. “Photography captures moments; poetry expands them,” they noted.
The free event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, at Casa de la Cultura Cancún.
