Cancún, Mexico — In celebration of International Youth Day, the Benito Juárez Municipal Government, led by Mayor Ana Paty Peralta, has announced the "Yo Soy Joven & Soy Cancunense" (I Am Young & I Am Cancunese) Festival of Culture and Entrepreneurship. The event, organized by the Municipal Youth Institute (IMJUVE), will take place from August 8 to 10 at the iconic Parque de las Palapas, running daily from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
A Showcase of Youth Talent and Innovation
The festival aims to highlight and strengthen the talents of Cancún’s young residents through a diverse lineup of activities. Attendees can explore entrepreneurial zones featuring products such as clothing, art, stickers, jewelry, snacks, baked goods, plants, and natural cosmetics.
The event will also include urban art installations, freestyle performances in multiple formats, K-pop dance exhibitions, interactive activities, live music from invited bands, and thematic displays. A panel discussion featuring influencers and content creators will provide insights into their experiences with social media.
Month-Long Youth Initiatives
Throughout August, IMJUVE has scheduled additional events to promote youth expression, participation, and development. Further details can be found on the institute’s official social media channels: @imjuvecancun on Instagram and Imjuve Cancún on Facebook.
