The operation involved personnel from the Mexican Navy, the Mexican Army, and municipal police, who supported surveillance and security efforts in the area.

The suspect, identified as Luis Alberto “N,” was handed over to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Drug Trafficking for his alleged involvement in drug-related crimes.

Authorities seized the following items:

  • A black fanny pack
  • Eight small nylon bags containing dry green herb resembling marijuana
  • A cell phone
  • Four large packages of green vegetable matter with characteristics similar to marijuana
  • A black Dodge Durango with Quintana Roo license plates
