Missing 13-Year-Old Girl in Tulum: Alba Protocol Activated

Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office has activated the Alba Protocol in the search for Ansleen Ivonne Pérez Solís, a 13-year-old girl reported missing on May 9, 2025, in the municipality of Tulum.

According to report 145/ZN/2025, the teenager was last seen on the same day, and her current whereabouts remain unknown. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black top and jeans.

Description of the Missing Adolescent

Ansleen Ivonne is a Mexican national with light brown skin, a slim build, and stands 1.50 meters tall, weighing approximately 45 kilograms. She has long, straight, light brown hair and light brown eyes. Distinctive features include a horizontal scar approximately one centimeter long on her forehead and a small mole on the left side of her nose near her eye.

Alba Protocol and Search Efforts

The activation of the Alba Protocol involves the immediate coordination of multiple institutions to expedite the search for missing women and girls. Measures include disseminating alerts through media and social networks, deploying search teams, and verifying field information.

The Attorney General’s Office clarified that, under the General Law on Enforced Disappearance of Persons and the National Search System, Ansleen Ivonne has been classified as a "non-located person." This designation means that, based on available information, there is no evidence linking her disappearance to criminal activity, though all lines of investigation remain open.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Ansleen Ivonne’s whereabouts to contact the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office confidentially at 998 881 7150, extension 2130. Public cooperation is considered crucial to ensuring her safe return to her family.
