Tulum, Quintana Roo — Authorities have launched a search operation for a 24-year-old woman reported missing in Tulum, activating the specialized Alba Protocol for locating missing women.

The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office is leading the search for Paola Josseline Medina Sanchez, a Mexican national who was last seen on March 18. Officials described her as having light skin, a slim build, long reddish hair, brown eyes, standing approximately 1.55 meters tall and weighing about 50 kilograms.

A distinctive tattoo on her left forearm reading “Paola Medina” could help identify her. When she disappeared, she was wearing a white blouse, mustard-colored pants, and black Nike sneakers.

The Alba Protocol coordinates security and justice agencies to expedite searches for missing women. Authorities are operating under Mexico’s General Law on Enforced Disappearance of Persons and Disappearance Committed by Private Individuals.

The Prosecutor’s Office has asked the public to provide any information that could help locate Medina Sanchez. Tips can be reported at 984 873 0163.
