Santiago Molina, a 28-year-old man from La Calera, Argentina, is currently fighting for his life in a hospital in Playa del Carmen after contracting monkeypox. He first started showing symptoms of the disease around six weeks ago.
Molina's health has significantly deteriorated over the past ten days, causing great concern for his family. His mother, Claudia F., is particularly distressed as she watches her son's strength wane.
Molina contracted the disease while in the Yucatan Peninsula. His condition has become complicated, affecting his respiratory system, pelvic area, genital region, and other parts of his body.
The young man is now in the intensive care unit, where doctors are doing their best to manage his condition.
