An animal rescuer in Cancun has reported an attempted arson attack on her home to the local district attorney. The rescuer, known as Aline "La China", has been the victim of three such attacks, with two of them caught on video.
The most recent incident involved a group of individuals attempting to set her house on fire. This was allegedly in retaliation for Aline's rescue of a mistreated dog. A video that has since gone viral shows a masked individual hurling flammable liquid at the house in an attempt to ignite a fire and cause damage to the property and its contents.
Despite these reports, the culprits have yet to be apprehended. Aline continues to seek support and protection for both herself and the animals she has rescued.
