Cancun, Quintana Roo — AAA Border & Mistickets has rescheduled its lucha libre event originally set for April 25 at the Poliforum in Cancun. The show will now take place on August 22, 2026, following agreements with sports authorities in Benito Juárez.

In a statement released Wednesday, organizers said the decision was made in coordination with the Benito Juárez Commission of Boxing, Lucha Libre and Professional Martial Arts to comply with current entertainment regulations.

“At AAA Border and Mistickets, our priority has always been the fans, as well as strict compliance with all necessary regulations to guarantee a quality show worthy of true lucha libre fans,” the company said.

The new date is set for 7:00 p.m. on August 22 at the Poliforum. Organizers apologized for any inconvenience caused by the change.

As compensation, fans who purchased tickets before April 21 will receive an exclusive meet-and-greet with wrestler La Parka.

The card remains unchanged. The main event will feature Psycho Clown and Pagano against Sansón and Forastero. The semifinal will pit La Parka, Mr. Iguana and El Fiscal against Abismo Negro, Rey Eclipse and D-Luxe.

Other matches include Octagón Jr. vs. Mecha Wolf, and a women’s bout starring Estrellita, Lady Shani and Lady Shadow against Flammer, La Hiedra and Maravilla. The company urged fans to follow its official channels for updates.
