BACALAR, QRoo — Bacalar is preparing to host the ninth edition of the Biker Fest, an event that for the second consecutive year will be held in the Magical Town and which was previously held on the island of Cozumel in its first editions.
Organizers estimate the arrival of between 3,000 and 5,000 motorcyclists from different states across the country and from nations in Central and North America. The participants will take part in various activities during the event, scheduled for October 7, 8, and 9.
The motorized gathering aims to consolidate Bacalar as an adventure tourism destination, promoting camaraderie among motorcycle clubs and groups in a safe and family-friendly environment. According to the organizing committee, the concentration of visitors is expected to generate significant economic spillover for local hotels, restaurants, businesses, and service providers, representing a major boost for the region's tourism sector.
