Cancún, Mexico — International superstar Gloria Trevi will be the featured artist closing out the night for the residents of Benito Juárez during the 2025 Independence Day celebrations on September 15. The performer of "Dr. Psiquiatra" is scheduled to begin her show at 11:30 p.m.
A protocol act to commemorate the date is planned to take place before she performs her songs. The event will be held at the Plaza de la Reforma in the center of the municipality. Admission is free, and attendees are advised to arrive early to enjoy the presentation.

This will not be the only show of the evening, as the public will be able to enjoy various artists on the same stage starting at 7:30 p.m. The government of Ana Patricia Peralta invited people to attend the annual event with the message: "From 7:30 pm let's live together the excitement of shouting with strength: Long live Mexico!"
The following performances are scheduled:
- 7:40 pm: Trío Jarocho Fina Estampa
- 8:00 pm: Ballet Folclórico of the Municipal Folklore Company of the Institute of Culture and Arts, accompanied by Trío Jarocho Fina Estampa
- 8:15 pm: Mariachi Aventurero
- 8:20 pm: Singer Gabriel Castro
- 8:45 pm: Singer Elizabeth Ozuna
- 8:10 pm: Ballet Folclórico of the Municipal Folklore Company of the Institute of Culture and Arts, accompanied by Mariachi Aventurero
- 9:30 pm: Show by Yucatecan Comedian Tila María Sesto
- 10:30 pm: Orchestra of Music from the Benito Juárez City Council
- 10:50 pm: Protocol Act of the 215th Ceremony of the Cry of Independence
- 11:15 pm: Sonorized Spectacle of 170 Drones
- 11:30 pm: Musical Spectacle with the Performance of Gloria Trevi
Gloria Trevi Recognized with the Hispanic Legacy Award
Last week, Gloria Trevi was recognized with the Legend Award at the Hispanic Heritage Awards 2025 in the United States. The singer stated that the award is part of the recognition of Latinos in the world.
"That recognition is for me like an embrace of hope for a humanity with more tenderness," she said upon receiving the award.
This year, the interpreter marks 36 years in her career. She has released 18 studio albums and starred in four films.
