Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The State Attorney General's Office has announced the arrest in flagrante delicto of eight individuals—six men and two women—for their alleged involvement in crimes against health in the modality of drug dealing. The detainees are also suspected members of a criminal group.
Investigative police attached to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in Combating Drug Dealing captured Abraham "N", Eri Efer "N", Erick Faustino "N", Noé "N", Juan Ramón "N", William "N", Reyna del Carmen "N", and Rita Marielena "N" on 10th North Avenue in the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood.
An inspection revealed that the suspects were in possession of doses of green and dry herb similar to marijuana. It is noted that the investigated individuals are allegedly members of a criminal group that generates violence and is dedicated to the sale and distribution of narcotics.
Following the requisite legal procedures, the eight detainees, along with the evidence seized from them, were turned over to the Public Prosecutor's Office. The Ministry of Public will determine their legal status within the corresponding legal term.
