Join Playa del Carmen’s Free Community Assembly

Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The Secretary of Welfare for Quintana Roo, Pablo Bustamante Beltrán, has invited families from Playa del Carmen to participate in the informative assembly "Bienestar para el Pueblo" (Well-being for the People) this Thursday, September 11. The event will be held at the dome of the "Luis Donaldo Colosio" Sports Unit, starting at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until 4:00 p.m.

A Vision of Progressive Social Action

Secretary Bustamante emphasized that social actions like this assembly are part of the progressive vision of Governor Mara Lezama to ensure no one is left behind. As part of the effort to bring well-being to every corner of Quintana Roo, families from Playa del Carmen will have access to a range of free services and support.

The available services include vital sign checks, physiotherapy and rehabilitation assessments, and mammograms. Free haircuts will also be offered.

"From the Secretariat of Welfare, we are bringing well-being programs from the south to the north so that no one is left behind and no one is left out," stated the Welfare Secretary.

Registration for Social Programs

Attendees will also be able to register for the Conecta Quintana Roo program, which provides a free chip with telephone and internet service. Information will be available on the FORO program, the Network of Well-being Units, and other social support programs that are transforming the lives of families.

The Secretary encouraged widespread participation, saying, "Spread the word to your relatives, neighbors, and friends so that no one misses out on these benefits."
