Mexico City — Yucatán is consolidating itself as a benchmark for investment in Mexico and Latin America, offering security, strategic infrastructure, and lasting alliances for investors.

With legal certainty and strategic alliances, Yucatán is projecting itself as the most business-friendly state in Mexico. This is driven by a comprehensive development strategy led by Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena, known as the “Mayan Renaissance.” This vision seeks to strengthen the state's competitiveness and consolidate it as a reference point in Mexico and Latin America.

During a meeting with North American business leaders in Mexico City, Víctor José López Martínez, head of the Representation of the Government of Yucatán, highlighted that the state offers security, political stability, legal certainty, and a strategic location. He identified these as key factors making the state a point of interest for companies across multiple sectors.

The Mayan Renaissance focuses not only on infrastructure but also on policies that foster sustainable growth and collaboration with international investors, guaranteeing that each project becomes a long-term strategic alliance.

Among the projects reflecting this strategy is the modernization of the Port of Progreso, with an investment exceeding 650 million dollars. The expansion of 80 hectares in its logistical platforms will consolidate the port as one of six strategic ports in the country, reinforcing Yucatán's position as a regional hub for commerce and industry.

Alliances and International Projection

Beyond infrastructure, Yucatán is distinguished by its commitment to lasting alliances and collaboration with investors. López Martínez emphasized that investing in the state is not just about choosing a business location, but about gaining a strategic partner committed to the growth and success of each company.

The Consul of Mexico in Orlando, Juan Sabines Guerrero, highlighted the state's security and the confidence it generates as an investment destination, while recognizing the leadership of Governor Díaz Mena and the coordination with President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo to promote public policies, strategic projects, and a business-friendly environment.

This comprehensive approach positions Yucatán as a benchmark in Latin America, capable of attracting capital, strengthening North American competitiveness, and building alliances that will shape the future of the region.
